Salus

Why Salus exists

The gap between check-ins is where things fall apart.

Most tools tell you what your body did. A watch counts your steps. A scale gives you a number. A yearly physical takes a snapshot and sends you home. What none of them tell you is how you are actually trending, day to day, in the weeks when nobody is watching.

That is the gap Salus was built to close. Not during the appointment, not during practice, but in the ordinary days in between, where a small decline builds quietly until it becomes an injury, a burnout, or a problem that could have been caught early.

The idea is simple

Ninety seconds a day. You check in on how you slept, your energy, your soreness, your stress. Salus turns that into a clear picture of how you are actually doing over time, spots the trend before you feel it, and tells you what to do about it. If someone is supporting you, a coach, a parent, a clinician, they see only what they are meant to see, and nothing more.

The boundaries are the whole point. A coach sees physical readiness, never private thoughts. A parent sees whether their kid is recovering, and structurally cannot see their mental-health data. A clinician sees the clinical picture they need to help. One set of data, four honest views.

Built by someone who needed it

Salus was started by Aryan Menon, a high school student and athlete in Phoenix, Arizona, who kept training through fatigue he could not measure and getting hurt because of it. No team, no funding, just a conviction that the most important information about your health is the stuff nobody tracks, and a lot of late nights turning that into a product.

We are early, and we are honest about that. Salus is not a medical device and does not pretend to be. It is a tool to help people notice, understand, and act sooner, whether that is an athlete avoiding an overtraining spiral or a patient staying connected to their care team between visits.

Where we are going

The goal is a world where knowing how you are actually doing is not a guess, and where the people who help you have what they need without ever seeing more than they should. We are building toward that one check-in at a time.
